"Stellar post-rock instrumentalists!" ~ Cleveland Scene
"While nobody was looking, the INS have built the perfect beast, equal parts rock quartet, studio wizards and multimedia ensemble." ~ Other Paper, Columbus, OH
"Infinite Number of Sounds has delivered a debut album that's bound to rock the socks off of anybody with properly functioning auditory canals." ~ Splendid E-zine
"As they proved on their 2003 debut, Time Wants a Skeleton, INOS's hypnotic Electronic/Noise Rock hybrid does not require visual accompaniment -- but the choreographed projections are so much more than an afterthought. Synchronized and cynical, they take the concertgoer on a thought-provoking and comical journey." ~ Mike Breen, Cincinnati City Beat
"Straight up, these cats is on some ill shit. Musically, I'd say they were a mix of drum n bass, rock, electronica and hip hop. Nahh, eff that: they're just dope! They had a video screen playin visual backdrops to their music...yo. If yall get a chance to see em, I recommend it." ~ Nexus
"given a world in which there is no God,
humans must create their own purpose.
the pursuit of beauty is a good purpose to have,
and Infinite Number of Sounds contributes to
the overall beauty of the world.
it is the existence of people like this
that give humanity a purpose and strength,
so that if there is a God, and it does care
what we do in our lives, we are better in
its eyes, now." ~ Andros Diroll
"Cleveland's never seen anything like them: half rock thrashers, half experimental video artists, half hip-hop break beatsters, half tripped out studio wizards - it all adds up to something sweet, sharp and sincerely new." ~ Cool Cleveland
"... Last night, for the first time in my life I've seen/heard a grouping of A/V
performances that not only contended with (in my humble opinion) but far
surpassed the emotional punch I received at any prior multimedia experience." ~ Every Man
"For those of you that missed INS, you missed out on a great band that fuses art/geek rock with fantastic visuals; clips from various film footage ranging from sci-fi stuff from the 80s to sea turtles to kung fu movies. Oh, and those visuals are mixed/edited live! These guys are a really solid band that is very tight. The music, the visuals form a completely entrancing experience that is hard to put into words. If you ever have the chance to see them, go check them out!

"It's not just music my dears, it's music set to video that works wonderfully. I wasn't sure whether to shut my eyes and enjoy the music pouring into me, watch the videos with the music (it was entrancing to say the least), or watch the band as they played in the dark." ~ xhollydayx
~ Deviant Dreaming
"From tribal beats, to jazz breaks, to ambient beauty, and a dash of humor all make this band a band to see time and again." ~ Domain Cleveland
"Spellbinding" ~ Cincinnati City Beat
"The sounds and images of Infinite Number of Sounds inspire in me a sort of euphoria that I cannot really describe... One thing is definitely certain without question -- these guys live their music, they play it from their souls, and it shows! This was the third time I have seen INS play out and every time I catch something, either in the sound or the images, that I didn't catch before. I think that they should hold a contest to see who can guess the most video samples correctly. If you get to see these guys play -- when you listen to the CD, you can't help but having a constant stream of images fading in and out as your brain relives the live show... Put "time wants a skeleton" in your car's CD player and rush hour gridlock will never upset you again! Listening to INS is like giving a chocolate dipped ice cream cone to your heart chakra, with sprinkles too." ~ Hetmana
~ Steve Boughton, Cleveland Scene
"Infinite Number of Sounds will completely amaze you!" ~ Snowy Tel Aviv
"Many different styles of music... done well. This band does not conform to one genre. The songs are very visual and precise. Organic music, hypnotic beats, and brooding talent." ~ Andrew DuChossois
~ Dr. Susan K. Tsvitse Ph.D.
~ Quahogs
"But sometimes on musicbuilder I get lucky. About 2:20 or so into Disfingered by Infinite Number of Sounds there's a sort of vocal "waaooooaaaagh" that just about makes my sensor array disfigure the plaster on the walls... it's fucking called Disfingered... Another track of their's, EmoJoe, IS a pretty standout track, moving through a laid back stoned kinda mellow groove with cello into some heavy guitar driven sort of stuff into a groove with a sort of muted horn thing doing some pretty serious working out. I'm finding I enjoy the variety this group of guys from Cleveland presents." ~ Kingo Sleemer
"They had incredible film clips to accompany the music. The last clip was of monks and one monk in particular standing in front of a mountain over the bluest water. That was my inspiration on stage...looking out at the mountains and water...so peaceful and humbling." ~ PH Balance tour diary
~ R.H.
"...What the fuck am I listening to?" ~ Billy, Patron Saint of the PA Turnpike
"OMG! Infinite Number of Sounds was AMAZING! They not only sounded fucking awesome, but they had a choreographed film playing on a large screen!" ~ Micah, SuicideGirls.com
